  1. A crab is any decapod (ten-legged) crustacean
  2. of the division Brachyura, with a broad, 
  3. rather round, upper body shell (carapace) and
  4. a small abdomen tucked beneath the body. 
  5. Crabs are related to lobsters and crayfish.
  6. Mainly marine, some crabs live in fresh water
  7. or on land. They are alert carnivores and
  8. scavengers. They also have a typical sideways 
  9. walk.
